About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position for University of North Dakota (UND) students. The role involves providing academic tutoring to student athletes. Specific subject matter expertise is required for Business or Biology/Chemistry tutoring.
Requirements
- Sophomore standing or higher
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Must have completed specific Business courses (ECON 201, ECON 202, ECON 210, ACCT 200, ACCT 201, FIN 310, MGMT 300/301, ISBA 217, MRKT 305) with a minimum final grade of a B, or equivalent, to be a Business Tutor
- Must have completed specific Biology/Chemistry courses (BIOL 150/151, CHEM 121/122, CHEM 341/342, BIOL 315, BIOL 341) with a minimum final grade of a B, or equivalent, to be a Biology/Chemistry Tutor

- Ability to interact with a wide array of socio-economic backgrounds
- Willing and able to follow the directions of supervisors
Responsibilities
- Comply with all institutional and NCAA rules and regulations
- Provide academic tutoring for student athletes
