We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused A/V Support Technician to provide on-site technical support for audio/visual and collaboration systems. This role is essential in ensuring seamless operation of A/V environments, supporting end users, and maintaining system reliability across our facilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in A/V support, IT support, or a related technical role.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex).
  • Experience with A/V hardware such as projectors, microphones, control panels, and video switchers.
  • Understanding of network connectivity and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site technical support during standard business hours (Monday–Friday).
  • Perform routine maintenance and equipment checks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to A/V and collaboration systems.
  • Assist users with scheduling and setup of A/V rooms and systems.
  • Provide immediate notification and escalation of A/V room or system outages.
  • Install firmware upgrades and patches as needed.
  • Coordinate and support room readiness, including video call setup for meetings and events.
  • Respond to end-user inquiries regarding A/V system use and functionality.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues in accordance with company protocols.
