Our Team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an A&T Technician III - Sub Assembly to join them. You will report to the Business Unit Operations Manager and have an onsite, 1st or 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, as well as demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • At Least 3 years of related sub assembly experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform various precision and complex assembly, test, inspection, and analysis functions in support of product delivery requirements.
  • Perform multiple complex manufacturing and special processes within and outside of the A&T functional department.
  • Proactively participates, supports, motivates, and provides guidance in a team-based environment.
  • Take ownership of sub assembly performance.
  • Collaborate with others to develop the sub assembly area.
  • Initiate, lead, and participate in process improvements within the sub assembly area.
  • Perform and help set up deburr, heli-coil installation and lee plug installation work areas.
  • Provide support to other A&T simple sub assembly processes.
