This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. It requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. The role involves checking daily production orders, ensuring positions are filled, overseeing Team Member exercises and job rotation, and ensuring machinery performance. It also includes ensuring USDA Inspection compliance, promoting safety, ensuring accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and proper product coding. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for communicating company benefits and compensation policies, encouraging Team Members, and performing human relations functions such as training, retaining, and counseling. Other duties include overseeing processing operations, collaborating with other supervisors, keeping records of reworked products, and providing continuous quality education.
