About The Position

Join our team as an A&P Mechanic where you'll inspect, repair, and overhaul aircraft systems and components with precision and expertise. From engine rebuilds to structural repairs, you'll work hands-on using technical data, FAA regulations, and advanced tools to ensure peak aircraft performance and safety. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to tackle diverse tasks daily, from electrical systems and hydraulics to documentation and shop maintenance, in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment alongside a skilled team of A&P Mechanics. As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and 12-hour schedules. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work any shift based on operational needs. Preference is given to those available between 2:30 PM and 7:00 AM, including overnights and weekends. Some schedules may qualify for shift differential. Overtime—both scheduled and unscheduled, including holidays—may also be required.

Requirements

  • Valid A&P License required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Follow verbal and written directions.
  • Skilled in interpreting and applying technical data.
  • Ability to safely drive and operate manual vehicles and equipment.
  • Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and mathematical proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance as an A&P Mechanic
  • Post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, service, and overhaul aircraft and related components.
  • Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components using company tools and equipment in accordance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company procedures.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures including wings, fuselage, rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
  • Read and interpret manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine repair or replacement methods.
  • Complete documentation such as identification tags, inspection forms, routing tags, and component removal logs.
  • Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or defects.
  • Repair or replace defective engine parts; reassemble and install engines.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
  • Perform miscellaneous service duties including cleaning, greasing, servicing, moving aircraft parts, and checking breaks.
  • Ensure training records are documented and signed by appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with maintenance of company equipment and general shop housekeeping.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and directing other A&P Mechanics when needed.
