About The Position

As an A&P Technician, you will perform heavy maintenance (C-Checks) on various regional jet airframes. You will comply with environmental health & safety policies and procedures, performing all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner. Your duties will include inspecting and repairing aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the FAA or applicable regulatory body, consulting maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs. You will also perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems, as well as troubleshooting, installations, removals, and inspections on various aircraft. All tasks must be completed within allotted time frames in accordance with FAA (or equivalent) and company standards. You will also operate ground support equipment as required.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as an Aircraft Technician.
  • Possess (basic) set of tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology / entering aircraft maintenance actions into a computer-based system.
  • Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA), if applicable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be comfortable with shift work; we are a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts which include days, nights, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • MRO experience is a plus.
  • CRJ airframe experience is a plus.
  • Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus.
