About The Position

Working in our newly completed, state-of-the-art facility, this A&P Mechanic will work alongside a team of Avionics Technicians and experienced Aircraft Mechanics. As a Licensed A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine and heavy maintenance as well as major inspections. Your technical skills will be critical in troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying various aircraft components, ensuring quality, safety, and performance.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a performing heavy maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft.
Minimum 3 years of Aircraft Maintenance Technician experience.
Must possess a valid FAA A&P License, or the required FFA sign-off (8610-2) to attain both within 6-months of hire.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 5 years of experience performing heavy maintenance on Gulfstream legacy aircraft.
Previous experience in an MRO or OEM Service Center environment.
Gulfstream factory training or equivalent type-specific training.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Work along side a team of A&P Mechanics performing heavy maintenance, inspections, modifications, and repairs.
Inspect aircraft per OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals.
Remove and install wheels, brakes, flight controls and riggings
Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
Troubleshoot and repair airframe systems including hydraulics, landing gear, and more.
Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical documents.
Analyze mechanical problems to determine the best repair methods.
Test, repair, and adjust engines, engine controls, and flight controls.
Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments effectively.
Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan aircraft.
Conduct operational checks and engine runs to ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
Make informed decisions on maintenance techniques and troubleshooting.
Availability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.
