About The Position

Daher is seeking talented A&P Mechanics to join their team at their Part 145 Service Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. This facility is a key U.S. maintenance and service center, providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, inspection, and technical support for Daher's TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft. The role involves performing hands-on airframe, powerplant, propeller, and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data. The facility also focuses on training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, underscoring Daher's commitment to safety and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate is required.
  • 3+ years aircraft maintenance required, preferably on turbo prop aircraft or equivalent experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting and performing maintenance on customer aircraft.
  • History documenting work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
  • Performed mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
  • Experience with engine removal and/or installation.
  • Experience working on aircraft component repair.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Basic computer skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on Turbo Prop aircraft is preferred, ideally some experience working on TBM or Kodiak aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements.
  • Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems.
  • Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA.
  • Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment.
  • Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.
  • Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order.
  • Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality.
  • Presents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeeping.
  • Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required.
  • Tows and parks aircraft.
