About The Position
V2X is seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic with a strong background in FAA regulated aircraft maintenance. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience, ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and airworthy.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience working on aircraft.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
- Valid U.S. Drivers License.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Phase Inspections, hot section inspections, and propeller balancing.
- Previous experience at Part 145 Repair Station.
- Avionics troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- King Air and Cessna Caravan experience
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance IAW OEM and FAA regulations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft systems and components in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with flight operations and other departments to minimize aircraft downtime.
