The A&P Aircraft Mechanic will service, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness. This role involves repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft structures, systems, and functional components. It also includes assembling and installing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural components, and accessories using hand tools and power tools. The mechanic will adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills. Research and understanding of FAA technical data relevant to assigned tasks is also a key part of the job.
