About The Position

Featuring complete aircraft nose-to-tail, value-added offerings, including Aircraft & Component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services (MRO), Aircraft & Engine Sales and Leasing, Used Serviceable Material (USM) Sales and Parts Exchange, Flight Equipment Asset Management Services, internally developed aircraft and component modifications (engineered solutions) designed to enhance aircraft performance and operating economics (e.g., AerSale®, AerTrak® and AerAware). The A&P Aircraft Mechanic will service, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness. This role involves repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft structures, systems, and functional components. It also includes assembling and installing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural components, and accessories using hand tools and power tools. The mechanic will adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills. Research and understanding of FAA technical data relevant to assigned tasks is also a key part of the job.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Must have an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of recent experience utilizing A & P license.
  • Must be flexible to work any shift.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment drug test per DOT regulations.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be efficient and able to document maintenance performed on required forms.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with the work product.

Nice To Haves

  • Large commercial aircraft experience preferred but corporate, general, or military aircraft will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data.
  • Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed.
  • Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, systems, and functional components, assemble, and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural components, and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
  • Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills.
  • Assure that all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
  • Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner.
  • Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor or other management personnel.
