About The Position

Western Aircraft is hiring A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technicians responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and servicing of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications. The role involves performing routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft, ensuring proper care of customer property, accurately completing required paperwork and work order details, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The technician must understand and follow safety procedures and utilize support equipment safely.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with general aviation airframes supported by Western Aircraft
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities
• Broad knowledge of aircraft systems
• Able to work overtime as needed, evenings and weekends
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and demeanor
• Airframe & Powerplant certifications required
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge

Nice To Haves

• Basic sheet metal skills and/or basic electrical capabilities
• Gulfstream / Falcon / Embraer / Citation / Pilatus / Piper / King Air experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft
• Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of work
• Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
• Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal toolbox
• Understands and follows safety procedures and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work
