About The Position
Willis Infiniti is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join their growing service team in Des Moines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles independently, with a strong capability in handling complex electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, and diagnostic issues. Requirements
- 5+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
- Strong A-Level diagnostic and repair experience
- Previous Infiniti, Nissan, or luxury import experience preferred
- Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Infiniti/Nissan factory certifications a plus
- Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems
- Ability to efficiently diagnose complex repair concerns
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment

Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Infiniti vehicles
- Diagnose complex electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC, suspension, steering, and brake concerns
- Perform customer-pay and warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Use factory diagnostic equipment and repair procedures
- Accurately diagnose concerns before beginning repairs
- Perform thorough multi-point inspections
- Document findings and repair recommendations
- Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management
- Follow dealership safety, quality, and repair procedures
