About The Position

Carvana is seeking experienced automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join their team. As an Experienced Auto Technician, you will be responsible for performing a full range of automotive repairs, from light maintenance to heavy engine work, and diagnostics on vehicles. This includes general to complex repairs on all makes and models, diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues (including electric and hybrid vehicles), and completing repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performing general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work.
• Diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control systems including ACs and heater cores.
