About The Position
The Nye County School District is seeking a 9-12 Science Teacher for Pahrump Valley High School. This position is for 183 days, with 7 hours of work per day, funded by the General Fund. The primary goal of this role is to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program that prepares students for lives as informed and engaged citizens in a global society.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Nevada Teaching License
- Valid Nevada Driver's License
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is required for physical education, special education, and career & technical education teaching assignments
- Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check
- Successful candidate must pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
