About The Position
The 9-12 English Teacher position at Round Mountain Jr/Sr High School is a full-time role for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program that prepares students for informed and engaged citizenship in a global society. This position is funded by the General Fund and requires a commitment of 150 days, with 8.5 hours per day.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Nevada Teaching License
- Valid Nevada Driver's License
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (required for physical education, special education, and career & technical education teaching assignments)
- Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check
- Successful candidate must pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
