About The Position

Neff Power, a GCG company, is currently seeking a summer Mechanical Design Intern for their 80/20 design team! As an 80/20 Design Engineer Intern, you will work directly with Neff’s engineering and product management groups to learn about aluminum extrusion and design and assembly of 80/20 products. This is a paid internship for students currently enrolled in an Engineering program, offering the chance to work with and learn from a highly collaborative team of engineers and product sales staff, and expand knowledge around engineering and mechanical design.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering program required
• Experience using AutoCAD or SolidWorks required
• Experience using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc) required
• Willingness to work onsite

Responsibilities

• Work alongside engineers to assemble aluminum extrusion products
• Operate basic hand tools: wrenches, sockets, drills, etc
• Work alongside product managers to design products with AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Assist with additional responsibilities as needed
