About The Position

777 AIMS and Systems Integration Manager Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is seeking a highly talented first line leader to manage the 777 AIMS and Systems Integration team in Everett, WA . Position Overview: We are hiring a technically credible first-line engineering manager to lead the 777 AIMS & Systems Integration team, responsible for delivering Block Point and Retrofit updates, flight and ground certification, supplier integration, and fleet sustainment. The ideal leader is technically credible, safety-focused, and skilled at developing their team while driving schedule and quality. Airplane Information Management Systems (AIMS) is an Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) platform hosting multiple flight-critical and non-flight-critical airplane systems functions including Displays, Flight Management, Flight Deck Communications, Thrust Management, Central Maintenance, Data Recording and Aircraft Condition Monitoring. The AIMS platform team coordinates and organizes the software development of all these functions for each software Block Point (BP) update.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 2+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal leadership role
• Ability to travel for business as needed

• Experience in the development, integration, and verification of aircraft systems

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the AIMS & Systems Integration team: hire, coach, develop talent, conduct performance management, and build bench strength for critical technical roles.
• Plan and execute engineering projects for AIMS software and systems, ensuring alignment with product schedules, aviation safety, and certification requirements.
• Direct Design Assurance activities across software functions with emphasis on verification & validation and evidence generation for certification.
• Manage test benches and laboratory testing strategy; coordinate ground and flight certification testing for software releases.
• Partner with suppliers to establish technical approaches, schedules, and risk mitigation plans; drive supplier performance and compliance.
• Support AIMS hardware lifecycle activities, parts obsolescence programs, and sustainment of the installed fleet through OPC Service Bulletins.
• Ensure accurate engineering configuration definition for production (schematics, wire diagrams, OPC software) supporting 777F and 777-9 production.
• Coordinate cross-functional issue resolution to support 777-9 First of Model (FOM) certification and Customer Introduction.
• Foster a psychologically safe and inclusive team culture where safety, quality, and schedule concerns are raised early and addressed transparently.
