About The Position

The Middle School PLC Team Leader will serve as the facilitator of their grade-level content for the Professional Learning Community (PLC) team. This position requires a positive demeanor, planning and organization skills, effective communication, and a deep commitment to the authentic work in PLC grade-level teams.

Requirements

  • Current, valid teaching license issued by TSPC
  • Knowledge of PLC process and implementation
  • Excellent organizational and technology skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers and administrators
  • Skilled in data analysis that leads to actionable steps
  • Possesses a desire and willingness to continually learn and improve in teaching strategies and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and facilitate PLC teams that are focused on essential standards, assessments using student data, and planning classroom-based interventions/extensions.
  • Maintain agendas, meeting notes, and team norms.
  • Ensure the PLC team focuses on upholding the established Three Rivers School District PLC Collaboration Expectations.
  • Attend district PLC Team Leader meetings twice yearly.
  • Attend annual district PLC Team Leader Professional Development (August 2026).
  • Identify and communicate professional development needs to middle school administrators.
  • Other duties as assigned.
