About The Position
The Roger Bacon Academy is seeking an outstanding 6th grade History Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year at Classical Charter Schools of Whiteville in Whiteville, NC. This education management organization manages multiple award-winning public charter schools in southeastern North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Education and a passion for inspiring young minds. The school utilizes a researched-based Direct Instruction curriculum grounded in the intellectual, aesthetic, and moral traditions of western civilization. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education.
- Valid teaching certificate from North Carolina or a partnering state in the area for which the candidate is applying.
- Ability to teach a group of diverse learners.
- Ability to be on their feet at all times during the day for constant circulation throughout the room working with individual students.
