About The Position
This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a hydraulic or mechanical press to shape, form, or cut metal and other materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. You will be based in Springfield TN.
Requirements
- 2 years of manufacturing production experience
- Active Driver’s License
- Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis
- Able to read and write English
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- Pass Lock out/Tag out
- Basic troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Set up and operate press machine according to production specifications and work orders
- Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
- Receive verbal and written information
- Complete all necessary documentation and communicate accurately and timely
- Understand written instructions and be willing and able to communicate those instructions to others
