About The Position

At Helena Public Schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As an Elementary Teacher, you will work as part of a team that serves nearly 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena. This positions serves a 187 day contract scheduled for 7 hours a day. Starting base salary range is $52,275-$70,833 based on education and experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan including but not limited to sick and personal leave, health benefit plan with available dental and vision coverage, life insurance, a section 125 plan, numerous tax sheltered annuity options and tuition reimbursement. Long term disability, short term disability and long term care insurance is also available.

Requirements

Montana teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.
At least a year of successful teaching experience at the elementary school level.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel to other buildings and will need to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
