About The Position
West Franklin U.S.D. # 287 is accepting applications for a fifth grade teacher position at West Franklin Elementary @ Appanoose during the 2026-2027 school year. The district is committed to serving its school community by providing a safe, structured learning environment that develops productive citizens who persevere through challenges. West Franklin USD 287 is located in Franklin County, KS and provides instruction to approximately 620 students across four schools: West Franklin Elementary at Appanoose (PreK-5), West Franklin Elementary at Williamsburg (PreK-5), West Franklin Middle School (6-8) and West Franklin High School (9-12). West Franklin Elementary @ Appanoose is a PreK-5 building with 16 certified staff members and approximately 160 students.

Responsibilities
