About The Position

St. Simon School on the northeast side of Indianapolis is seeking to hire a dedicated and engaging Fifth Grade Language Arts teacher to join our team and inspire a love of reading and writing in students. The ideal candidate will teach three sections of fifth grade Language Arts, providing high-quality instruction in reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, and written expression while fostering critical thinking and creativity. This teacher will create a positive, student-centered classroom environment, use data to guide instruction, collaborate with colleagues and families, and support the academic and social growth of all learners. Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and a passion for helping upper elementary students succeed are essential.
