50/50 Seller
About The Position
Reporting to the OSEG Foundation team, the 50/50 Seller is responsible for driving ticket sales during game days and events at TD Place in support of the Foundation's charitable initiatives. This role promotes the 50/50 program, engages with fans, and sells tickets from kiosks or as a roaming representative, ensuring clear communication and a positive guest experience. The position is focused on meeting and exceeding sales targets while representing the Foundation and contributing to its community impact. The OSEG Foundation is looking to hire high-energy motivated sellers to join our 50/50 Game Day Raffle sales team. Through the OSEG Foundation’s 50/50 raffles, one lucky winner receives 50% of the jackpot and the remaining 50% is directed to the OSEG Foundation to support its ongoing charitable efforts.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic and professional attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a large crowd/fan base in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as required for all REDBLACKS Home Games scheduled).
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales experience an asset.
- Genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports and entertainment sector.
Responsibilities
- Actively sell, handle and distribute 50/50 tickets within TD Place either at a stationary kiosk or as a roaming sales representative during TD Place Events, including REDBLACKS home games.
- Effectively promote the 50/50 raffle and the OSEG Foundation to fans.
- Effectively meet and exceed sales goals.
- Clearly communicate with fans.
- Answer general inquiries about the 50/50 program.
- Embody the OSEG mantra of One Team, One Vision.
