The 5 Star Decorator plays a key role in driving bakery sales through custom designs, seasonal displays, and premium cake decorating expertise.

• Maintain attractive presentation of decorated cakes and bakery products in display cases.
• Support promotional events, holidays, and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels of decorating supplies and communicate needs to bakery leadership.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Properly store, label, and rotate products according to company standards.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with bakery team members to ensure efficient department operations.
• Assist with bakery production and customer service needs as business demands require.
• Share decorating knowledge and help train new bakery associates when assigned.
• Support department goals for sales, shrink control, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Design and create custom cakes for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and other special events.
• Produce attractive, consistent, and high-quality products while meeting production schedules and customer deadlines.
