About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team at Nottingham School as a 4th Grade Teacher. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Valid PA teaching certification for elementary education.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with parents and the community.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching 4th grade or a similar age group is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation.
• Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the varying learning styles and abilities of all students.
• Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
• Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking through engaging activities and projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success and well-being.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Uphold school policies and procedures while promoting a positive school culture.
