About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate 4th Grade ELA Teacher to join our elementary team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will foster a literacy-rich classroom environment that builds strong reading comprehension, writing fluency, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for reading using state standards and benchmark-aligned curricula.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Required).
Successful completion of a Florida Level 2 background screening.

Nice To Haves

Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Temporary Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6) or English (5–9) with Reading Endorsement/Coverage (Preferred).
Prior K–12 instructional experience and familiarity with FAST ELA testing benchmarks preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, internalize, and deliver engaging, standards-based ELA lessons aligned with Florida's B.E.S.T. ELA standards.
Analyze formal and informal student assessment data (including FAST PM benchmarks) to differentiate instruction, run small guided reading groups, and provide targeted interventions.
Uphold a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture that supports academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
Maintain active, weekly communication with parents and guardians regarding student academic progress and reading growth.
Participate actively in weekly grade-level team meetings, professional development workshops, and school community events.
