About The Position

Encompass is a mission-driven non-profit and a recognized leader in early childhood education in Northeast Wisconsin, with eight locations and a ninth anticipated in 2027. Our NAEYC-accredited programs utilize HighScope Curriculum and Conscious Discipline, supported by on-site resources to enable educators to focus on meaningful teaching and relationship-based care. This specific opportunity is for a limited-term, summer 4K Teacher position at our Bellin Health Center in Green Bay, working from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma required (for Assistant Teachers)
Two non-credit early childhood courses completed preferred (for Assistant Teachers)
Associate degree in early childhood, child development, or a related field (for Lead Teachers)
Classroom experience and understanding of developmentally appropriate, relationship-based practice preferred (for Lead Teachers)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degrees in unrelated fields are welcome to apply (for Lead Teachers)
Interest in early childhood education and a desire to continue learning and growing in the field (for Assistant Teachers)

Responsibilities

Create nurturing, engaging learning environments that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
Implement the HighScope Curriculum through active learning, observation, and assessment
Use Conscious Discipline strategies to foster safe, respectful, and inclusive classrooms
Build strong partnerships with children and families
Maintain developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning environments
Collaborate with Center Directors, fellow educators, and advocates
Participate in ongoing professional growth
