About The Position

The Food Services Department anticipates openings for 4-hour workers within the 2026-2027 school year at West Dover Elementary. This role involves supporting cafeteria operations, ensuring food safety, and providing customer service.

Requirements

• Must be able to work well with others.
• Must be able to provide courteous customer service to students and staff.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to take multiple directions.
• Must be able to follow through with completed job tasks.
• Must be able to maintain records as required by the State and Federal Department of Agriculture.
• Must be able to ensure that proper temperatures are maintained during the holding and serving of Lunch and Breakfast.
• Must be able to lift and put away food orders.
• Must be able to perform all duties required to serve Breakfast and/or Lunch.
• Must be willing to come in early or stay late on occasion.
• Possess a strong cooking background or be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work well with others and provide courteous customer service to students and staff.

• Maintain records as required by the State and Federal Department of Agriculture (e.g., Production Records, Temperature Logs, consolidating daily paperwork/records).
• Ensure proper temperatures are maintained during the holding and serving of Lunch and Breakfast.
• Lift and put away food orders.
• Perform all duties required to serve Breakfast and/or Lunch.
• Come in early or stay late on occasion (complete voucher for additional hours).
