About The Position

This position performs janitorial or other cleaning functions in all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, and lunchrooms. The role involves maintaining lavatories and break areas with necessary supplies, reporting any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor, and adhering to common safety practices and plant hygiene standards to ensure product integrity. The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a food processing plant
• Basic math skills
• Ability to record data onto a spreadsheet
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate with management and co-workers
• Ability to work in all environments whether it be hot or cold
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required
• Must maintain a good attendance record
• Must have safe work habits

Responsibilities

• Performs janitorial or other cleaning functions in all areas as assigned (Offices, restrooms, lunchrooms, passageways, etc.)
• Maintain lavatories and break areas with required supplies.
• Responsible for lifting to 100 pounds as required.
• Report any mechanical or safety problems to Supervisor or Leadperson.
• Adheres to common safety practices or rules including the wearing of protective equipment as required.
• Adheres to our plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Leadperson.
