The 3rd Shift Production Worker - Winder C must be willing to perform work in a team environment – adhering to all safety, attendance, and work rules, regulations & equipment requirements. This role involves basic assembly and testing of electromechanical assemblies for turbine components, including installation, adhesive bonding, drilling, tapping, torquing, lubricating, and wiring. The worker will also assemble, bend, form, braze, tape, and stack generator parts, assemblies, and components for both new build and services. They will utilize standard tooling, proper chemicals (understanding safety data and shelf-life), and follow EHS compliance for turbine assembly and test. The position requires performing complete and accurate quality documentation, assisting in the implementation of documentation and process improvements, and performing testing and minor inspections as needed. Material movement using cranes and other equipment, unloading and preparing parts for shipment, and performing complex repair work are also part of the responsibilities. The role includes providing on-the-job training to other personnel, completing daily housekeeping functions (5s, parts kitting), and assisting in all aspects of service and repair work. A strong emphasis is placed on demonstrating the ability to follow policies and practices to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, including proper use of PPE, ensuring machine guards are functional, and reporting unsafe conditions or quality issues.
