About The Position

This role involves making ready and assisting operators in maintaining corrugated manufacturing press machines, including rotary and Bobst die cutters, Flexo folder gluers, labelers, and folder gluer machinery. The position requires observing and monitoring machine operations to detect malfunctions and determine necessary adjustments. Responsibilities include feeding, catching, and stacking corrugated sheets, assisting with order setups (setting heads, mounting print plates and dies), and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. The role also ensures all orders are completed to specifications, including special instructions, and may involve parts and hand assembly as assigned.

Requirements

At least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic including additions, subtractions, multiplications, division and use of a tape measure.
Ability to work in an environment that is often hot in the summer and cool in the winter.
Light to moderate lifting (up to 50lbs).
Ability to stand throughout entire shift.
Candidates must be available to work overtime & on Saturdays as needed.
Must be willing to work in an environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Feeding, catching and stacking corrugated sheets at machine feed and stacking stations.
Assisting machine crew in order setups including setting heads, mounting of print plates and dies, maintaining safety, quality and required housekeeping standards.
Ensures all orders are completed to specifications including “special instructions” if applicable.
Other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors/shift leader may include parts and hand assembly.
