About The Position

Derstine's Foodservice Distributor is seeking a driven and quality-focused 3rd Party Logistics Coordinator to join their innovative and rapidly growing company. With over 41 years of experience providing products to restaurants and other food industries, Derstine's prides itself on excellent customer service and quality goods. This role is crucial for managing the paperwork and billing for EZ3PL transactions, maintaining open communication with EZ3PL customers, and providing solutions to their questions and challenges. The coordinator will also be responsible for creating shipping labels for EZ3PL customers as needed.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the Standard English language.
  • Organizational skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and EWM or similar systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Google Docs, Excel, Word, Teams or similar apps

Responsibilities

  • Manage paperwork/billing for EZ3PL transactions.
  • Maintain open communication with EZ3PL customers.
  • Provide solutions for EZ3PL customer questions/challenges.
  • Create shipping labels for EZ3PL customers as needed.
  • Create IB and OB transactions in SAP EWM for EZ3PL receiving and orders.
  • Complete daily EZ3PL transaction confirmations/billing.
  • Create individual invoices for container customers.
  • Closely monitor emails for EZ3PL customer inquiries.
  • Complete end-of-month EZ3PL billing.
  • Email EZ3PL invoices to customers at the beginning of each month for previous months' transactions.
  • Check email continually throughout the day. Monitor [email protected] and individual @derstines.com email and respond within the workday if necessary. Prioritize emails based on who they are from, whether they require immediate attention, etc.
  • Enter Inbound and Outbound orders into SAP EWM.
  • Create shipping labels and schedule pick-up appointments with UPS and FedEx.
  • Monitor the scheduling and personal emails for orders/delivery appointment requests, time changes or urgent matters.
  • Respond promptly to pick-up, rush, or delivery appointment emails.
  • Add Inbound/Outbound appointments to the Fiori Dock Schedule.
  • Process billing in SAP and Fiori LaunchPAd.
  • Assist the warehouse with any issues, requests, or inquiries.
  • Send signed BOLs and weight sheets to customers.
  • Verify and double-check weight sheets/counts given by the warehouse.
