About The Position

The 3rd Grade Team Leader at South Fayette Township School District will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of the 3rd-grade curriculum and team operations. This role involves budget management, inventory control, team meetings, data analysis, and strategic planning to enhance the educational experience for 3rd-grade students.

Requirements

• Ability to coordinate and prepare annual grade level budget requests.
• Skills in maintaining grade-level textbook and equipment inventories.
• Capability to conduct grade-level or team meetings.
• Proficiency in analyzing standardized test results.
• Willingness to attend Team Leader meetings every other month.
• Ability to submit an annual Team Leader Report.
• Skills in developing grade-level or team goals and implementation plans.
• Willingness to participate in an annual performance evaluation.
• Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in grade level/subject areas and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare and submit annual grade level budget requests.
• Maintain grade-level textbook and equipment inventories and submit annual inventory reports.
• Conduct grade-level or team meetings.
• Analyze standardized test results as requested by the Administration.
• Attend Team Leader meetings (before or after school) every other month as scheduled by the Building Principal.
• By the last day of school, submit to the Building Principal, an annual Team Leader Report summarizing the activities, meetings, programs and other functions that have occurred throughout the school year.
• Along with staff in your area, develop grade-level or team goals and plans for implementation.
• Participate in an annual evaluation of your personal Team Leader performance with the building level Administrator.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses in your grade level / subject areas and make suggestions for improvement.
