About The Position
This role is eligible for a signing bonus up to $5,000. Apex Academy, located in Cleveland, OH, opened in 2004 and serves 475+ K-8 students every year. At Apex, you can connect passion with purpose. Apex Academy offers starting pay above market scales, an experienced leadership team, and outperforms local districts on state tests. They provide a high level of support for all staff, a safe learning environment with external and internal cameras, high parent involvement, and behavioral support for teachers and students (ABSS). A Dean support model is also in place.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
- National Heritage Academies will support you through your alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Create a classroom environment that is engaging and conducive to learning.
- Leverage a curriculum proven to drive the academic success of students.
- Analyze and use student data to inform your teaching.
- Participate collaboratively and professionally with fellow teachers and support staff to meet the goals and individual needs of each student.
