About The Position

Hillview Elementary is seeking a dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering an educational environment that nurtures the academic and personal growth of students. This role requires a proactive approach to student development, including addressing social and emotional needs, promoting positive self-esteem, and differentiating instruction to meet individual learning styles. The teacher will be expected to utilize data to inform instruction, incorporate technology into the classroom, and actively participate in professional development and instructional coaching.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Ohio Elementary teaching license Pre-K-3 with reading endorsement, Pre-K-3 with 4-5 endorsement, Pre K - 5, or K-1-8 certificate.
  • Be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual student.
  • Demonstrate skill in effective classroom management and student engagement.
  • Use data to drive instruction.
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the elementary grade student.
  • Be willing to promote activities to build positive self-esteem in elementary level students.
  • Be committed to providing an educational environment that nurtures academic & personal growth of students.
  • Demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction.
  • Be open to reviewing current research and actively participating in staff development opportunities to promote personal and professional growth.
  • Be open to instructional coaching.
  • Incorporate technology into the classroom.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff and parents.
  • Be willing to work as part of a team.
  • Be acceptable to the Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel.
