About The Position
Sopra Steria is seeking an experienced bilingual 3DEXPERIENCE Project Manager to lead the business-side implementation of its 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for Completion activities. The role serves as the primary business representative, owner, and decision-maker, ensuring the solution supports operational needs, business requirements, and strategic objectives. The Project Manager partners with the IT Project Manager, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to coordinate business and technical workstreams throughout the project lifecycle. The role also leads Business Analysts and Business Experts, facilitates stakeholder alignment, and drives business process optimization, testing, deployment readiness, change management, and user adoption. The successful candidate will have aerospace and PLM experience, hands-on experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, a track record delivering PLM implementation or transformation projects, and a PMP certification. Fluency in French and strong spoken and written English are required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- At least 5 years of experience with PLM systems.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform.
- Proven track record delivering PLM implementation or transformation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP certification.
- Expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) and PLM implementation.
- Strong project management skills using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in French.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business implementation of the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) PLM solution for Completion activities as the primary business owner and decision-maker.
- Partner with the IT Project Manager to coordinate business and technical workstreams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure the PLM solution aligns with business requirements, operational processes, and strategic objectives.
- Manage and mentor Business Analysts and Business Experts, providing direction and support.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, process reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Define, analyze, and optimize business processes for PLM deployment and long-term adoption.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee business testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), readiness assessments, and deployment preparation.
- Promote communication and collaboration among business teams, IT teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Drive change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Ensure project deliverables meet business expectations and contribute to continuous improvement across Completion operations.
