About The Position

We are looking for a 3D Props Artist to help bring the stylized world of Disney Dreamlight Valley to life, a live game where players explore, build, and interact with beloved Disney and Pixar characters. In this role, you will create high-quality stylized props that enhance immersion and ensure visual consistency across the game.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of stylized art principles (shape language, composition, color)
  • Experience with both hard-surface and organic modeling
  • Proficiency in Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or ZBrush
  • Experience with Substance Painter, Substance Designer, or Photoshop
  • Solid knowledge of PBR workflows
  • Experience integrating assets into a game engine (Unity is a plus)
  • Ability to follow and maintain a consistent art style
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Openness to feedback and iteration
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Proactive problem-solving approach

Responsibilities

  • Create stylized 3D props (furniture, decorative assets, tools, fantasy items)
  • Work with both hard-surface and organic modeling techniques
  • Texture and create materials using PBR workflows
  • Integrate assets into Unity
  • Optimize assets for real-time performance
  • Identify and fix asset-related issues, iterate based on feedback
  • Contribute to improving and documenting art pipelines
