About The Position

We're looking for a 3D Print Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will help bring creative concepts to life by producing high-quality 3D printed components for exhibits, experiential environments, prototypes, and custom fabrication projects. You'll operate and maintain 3D printing equipment, support digital fabrication processes, and work closely with Design, Engineering, Project Management, and Production teams to deliver finished parts that meet project requirements. This position reports to the 3D Print Studio Manager. Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience with 3D printing, digital fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience operating FDM 3D printers.
• Understanding of 3D printing materials, machine operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods and lift materials in accordance with company guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SLA and/or SLS printing technologies.
• Experience operating laser cutting equipment.
• Familiarity with CAD or 3D modeling software such as Rhino, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar platforms.
• Experience with post-processing, finishing, or fabrication techniques.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design, Digital Fabrication, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial 3D printing equipment, with a primary focus on FDM printers.
• Prepare files for production using slicing software and manage print schedules and priorities.
• Troubleshoot print issues, perform routine maintenance, and assist with equipment calibration.
• Monitor print quality and ensure finished components meet project specifications.
• Track materials and support efficient production workflows.
• Assist with the operation of laser cutting equipment and other digital fabrication tools.
• Support the production of components used in exhibits, displays, and custom fabrication projects.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Production teams to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Perform post-processing tasks such as cleaning, sanding, assembly, and finishing printed parts.
• Coordinate with paint, metal, carpentry, and installation teams to integrate components into final assemblies.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
