3D ORD Modeler
About The Position
Parsons is looking for a talented 3D ORD Modeler to join their team full-time to support large transformative transportation projects across the nation. These projects have construction values greater than $1 billion and aim to enhance mobility, safety, and reliability for communities. The position is remote, offering flexibility in work location while supporting virtual collaboration. Parsons is a leading design-build firm with a global presence, known for its work on challenging infrastructure projects. This role offers career-defining opportunities on high-visibility Design-Build and Public Private Partnership (P3) projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in 3D modeling for civil or transportation projects
- High School Diploma required
- A desire to solve problems and work independently
- Strong math and spatial skills
- Experience with Microstation is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with programming and/or scripting languages is a plus
- Bachelors in Civil Technology, Civil Engineering Modeling, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop logic-based engineering templates
- Implement templates to create 3D models of civil projects
- Work closely under other Designer/Modelers and Engineers to ensure a coordinated design
- Utilize advanced computer modeling software to optimize and solve three-dimensional civil engineering transportation problems
