Supports the 3D anatomic modeling / 3D printing lab, hosted in the radiology department, at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Responsibilities include 3D anatomic modeling and 3D printing project management, anatomic segmentation and computer-aided design, virtual and augmented reality, virtual surgical planning, medical anatomic guide design and manufacturing, 3D printer equipment and supplies management, model post-processing and documentation, lab safety and waste management. Assists in the design and development of biomedical-related engineering systems; possesses knowledge of tools, design techniques and underlying theory relevant to their discipline; Demonstrates good written and verbal skills; regularly summarizes and communicates the results of work efforts to project team members and management in a clear, concise, and timely manner; accomplishes assigned tasks and manages multiple priorities. Understands relevant components of the Division's quality management system and participates in safety risk management activities. Is a self-starter who excels in a multi-disciplinary development environment. Communicates effectively in writing and conversation.
