We are looking to hire a 340B Pharmacy Inventory Tech III! As a 340B Pharmacy Inventory Tech III at MercyOne Genesis, you will: Serve as dual role of inventory specialist for the internal 340B program and the complex purchasing to provide direct oversight of all three accounts, WAC, GPO, and 340B to comply with HRSA regulations Provide inventory support to internal critical access facilities: operational oversight of the 340B split-billing program to ensure compliance with accumulator inventory; develops solutions to accumulator findings to the 340B coordinators Participate in monthly probe sampling for both contract pharmacy and split billing locations Perform reviews and inventory optimization with 340B coordinators, areas include location, medication, prescriber, and care provided Record findings and works with 340B Coordinator to develop solutions Participate in reviews and implements cost saving initiatives with contract opportunities from WAC, GPO, and 340B. Develops understanding and on-going training of the program to enhance overall efficiency, value, and internal inventory support to critical hospitals Work with departments, facilities and vendors to ensure inventory optimization and validity of the 340B program

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
More than 3 years experience required
Registration with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners prior to the start of employment as a Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee - trainee must become a nationally certified pharmacy technician within 12 months of hire
Must meet requirements at Level II and be dual licensed and able to work across all MercyOne Genesis pharmacies and perform at least 75% of all job duties
