About The Position

The 310J Trailer Mechanics and/or Apprentices are responsible for performing repairs to Erb trailers.

Requirements

Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in repairs of heavy equipment including experience using electronic diagnostic equipment.
Licensed 310J Technician or Apprentice.
Applicant is required to provide their own tools.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Safety focused.

Nice To Haves

Welding experience considered an asset.
Experience with MS Office Suite and TNT an asset.
Positive attitude with proven people skills.

Responsibilities

Repair trailers and other equipment as required.
Complete monthly service and inspection of all Erb trailers.
Coordinate with operations and supervisor as to the availability of trailers.
Document all repairs on work orders on computer system. Fill out appropriate inspections sheets when required.
Ensure all parts are marked in daily.
When necessary, ability to road test vehicles.
Communicate with dispatch to prioritise availability of equipment as required.
Follow shop procedures, company policies, and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
May assist drivers with road breakdown repairs as required.
May be required to perform repairs inside or outside shop.
Assist in property maintenance and cleaning of shop when required.
All other duties as required.
