Requirements

  • 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic, and industrial skills required.
  • Able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling/ mobile equipment in performing duties.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, and test and adjust.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions.
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
