About The Position

The Roger Bacon Academy is seeking an outstanding 2nd grade Teacher for Classical Charter Schools of Leland in Leland, NC. This education management organization manages multiple award-winning public charter schools in southeastern North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Education and a passion for inspiring young minds. The school utilizes a researched-based Direct Instruction curriculum focusing on phonics, writing, mathematics, science, music, and art, drawing from classical traditions to provide a strong educational foundation. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in education.
• Valid teaching certificate from North Carolina or a partnering state in the area for which the candidate is applying.
• Ability to be on their feet at all times during the day while working with individual students.
