What We Offer: Flexible scheduling: Set your own hours (minimum 4–6 hours per week). This applies to most assignments. Some assignments have set schedules Competitive Pay – Compensation is based on your years of experience Simple IRA with Company Match – Up to 3% matching contribution Ongoing Training & Support – Access to professional development and teaching resources Part-Time Employment – Not a contractor role; become part of a collaborative educator team Supportive Team Culture – Work in a community that values collaboration and shared success What We Are Looking For: State‑certified teacher needed to support a 2nd‑grade student in math, reading, and writing In‑home summer tutoring, 1 hour per week Sessions begin in June Availability needed on Tuesday or Thursday between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Idea tutor will be: Compassionate, responsible, and student‑centered Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to student success Experienced (1-3+ years of teaching or tutoring preferred) Skilled in supporting students with diverse academic levels and learning needs An excellent communicator and dependable team player

Requirements

  • State‑certified teacher
  • Special Education State Teacher Certification
  • Minimum availability of 4–6 tutoring hours per week
  • Current background clearances: FBI, PA State Police, and Child Abuse (within the past year)
  • Mandated Reporter Certificate
  • Recent TB Test Results
  • Completion of Act 24, Act 168, and other state-mandated forms

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced (1-3+ years of teaching or tutoring preferred)
