This 2L Summer Intern position at the District Attorney's Office offers law students a unique opportunity to conduct meaningful work on real criminal cases. Interns will work alongside experienced prosecutors and be involved in all aspects of criminal prosecution, from investigation through trial. This includes cases involving murder, sexual assault, aggravated robbery, and other violent crimes. Interns will research legal issues, draft pleadings, observe courtroom proceedings, review felony filings, and prepare trial exhibits. The program is designed for students considering a career in criminal prosecution, with the goal of preparing them to return as 3L interns and potentially as deputy district attorneys.
