About The Position

The Analytical Method Validation and Tech Transfer team is a group of dedicated scientists, balancing technical validation expertise with cross-functional leadership, overseeing end-to-end project-based validation/transfer activities across the GNE and global Roche network. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The primary goal is to support the characterization of new control lots utilized globally for analytical method development and system suitability. The intern will play a critical role in bridging clinical and commercial activities, ensuring consistent method performance across the global network.

Requirements

• Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program).
• Must have attained a Master's Degree.
• Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student).
• Must have attained a PhD.
• Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support data trending and statistical evaluation for new method control lots.
• Organize, source, and mine technical reports and manufacturing records to support future method control lot production and forecast future material demand.
• Perform analytical laboratory work (e.g., HPLC, IEC, CE-SDS) for comparability assessments and characterization of critical reagents.
• Map usage data across cross-functional departments to establish centralized databases and streamline material replenishment.
• Support design space characterization and data sourcing to aid regulatory filings and lifecycle method implementation.
