About The Position

Catalent’s Madison, Wisconsin site is a biologics development and manufacturing facility supporting customers from research through early- and mid-stage clinical production. The site specializes in mammalian cell line engineering, drug substance biomanufacturing, and biopharmaceutical development, and supports clinical manufacturing at scales from 50 to 4,000 liters.

The 2027 Supply Chain Intern will assist with analytics and purchasing systems while learning and contributing to data gathering and lean engineering to improve supply chain functions. The role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting process improvement and automation initiatives. The internship provides hands-on experience in a collaborative environment focused on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field of study.
• Eligible to legally work in the United States.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 12 weeks over the summer.

Responsibilities

• Support supply chain analytics, purchasing systems, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and maintain accurate data and records in compliance with company procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement, lean engineering, efficiency, and automation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in meetings, and provide project updates and presentations.
• Follow safety, quality, compliance, and 5S standards while supporting daily operations.
