About The Position

Public Affairs & Access is a multi-disciplinary organization that includes Access Solutions & Patient Support; Channel & Contract Management; Corporate Communications; External Affairs; Patient Strategy; Policy, Evidence & Access Strategy; and Strategic Business Operations. Our mission is to drive positive change in the healthcare system so that every patient can access our science. We lead the development of meaningful partnerships, forward-looking pricing, contracting and distribution strategies, and proactive policy solutions that advance a more equitable and hopeful future for all of those who need our therapies. This position is based in South San Francisco, CA, On-Site. Evaluate and improve QBRs, end-to-end contract processes (from ideation to negotiation), and account-support workflows to enhance consistency and efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand workflows and develop scalable solutions that strengthen National Account Manager–led activities Identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage AI tools to optimize documentation, reporting, and strategic insights Contribute to team projects, templates, and process initiatives that drive operational improvements and best practices Intensive 12-weeks , full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in May/June (Summer) A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or must have attained a Bachelor's degree (recent graduates not currently enrolled in a grad program)
  • Must be pursuing a Master's degree or must have attained a Master's degree
  • Must be pursuing a PhD or must have attained a PhD (Please note these candidates are NOT eligible for an internship in Research Biology, Drug Discovery, or DevSci)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
